About One Other
One Other is my work: a one-person practice, a digital laboratory with no office, with a team assembled project by project.
Where I come from
Working out of Porto is a choice.
I work from Porto, and there is no office. The laboratory is digital and the work travels anywhere. Nobody hires me for the address. What counts is what I have built.
One Other started in 2026, and it is one person by choice. Every project goes through the same eyes, from the first day to the last.
Who I am.
My name is Júlio Lobo. I do the brand, the site, the tools and the code on every project that comes in here, from the first sketch to the last line.
I don't write about what I did before this practice. What counts is what is live and you can open: this site, the engine that draws it, and whatever comes next.
What does One Other actually do?
Three things, and always in this order. I look at what you already have and say where to start. I build the site or the product, from scratch. And I write your brand as files a person can read and an AI can use, so that what comes out has your voice.
I don't say yes to everything. I can only take a few projects at a time, so choosing them is part of the work.
How I work with the machine.
The machine is the other. It does the grunt work. The draft, the repetition, the twenty versions when only one is any good. I make the calls and answer for them.
I always name the tool: Claude Code writes the code with me, Supabase holds the data, and the site runs on Next.js and TypeScript. None of it is a secret and none of it is magic.
I am not selling you a model. I swap models. Your brand's rules stay written where you can read them.
What stays yours, and in what form.
Everything a project produces: the code, the content, the domain, the data and the brand rules. Text files in your own accounts, in open formats.
The day you want someone else working on this, they pick it up and carry on. What you send me stays between us, and it leaves here as your files.
Who I work with, project by project.
When a project needs more hands, I put the team together for that project and tell you who is in it and what they are doing. There is no standing team waiting for work, and nobody else's name is on this page as decoration.
Whoever works with me is paid for the project and credited for the work they did.
If any of that is your line of work, send what you do and one piece of work to hello@oneother.io. I answer, even when there is no project in sight.
Why the name One Other?
There is no one without the other. The one is you: what only you can do. The other is what gets built to do the rest, in your voice and by your rules, and it stays with you.
The same holds on my side. I am one. The machine and the people who come in per project are the other.
